Though not the birthday of Jesus, the season of Christmas reminds us of Biblical teachings about Jesus as an infant, which focus on who Jesus was as a person, not the work he had done for us.  The infancy stories in the Gospels teach us that he was, 1) the chosen one sent by God for us; 2) God with us; and, 3) a man, a human born of woman.  This is whom we believe in. May we know and trust the person of Jesus, caring for him as our brother and friend.
